Our Fees

We provide value for money and yet will not compromise on the quality of our advice and representation. Our aim is to provide complete transparency in our charging structure so that you will know exactly what the cost of your defence will be.

We can offer either a guaranteed fixed fee whereby a fee will be decided at the beginning of your case taking into account the complexity of your matter. Once decided upon we guarantee we will not charge you any more than this or you can chose to instruct us at an hourly rate.

Pre-court advice
A solicitor inspecting your documentation, giving advice on the best way forward and making written representations to try to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.

Sentencing - letter to the court:
You are going to admit a road traffic offence and you wish a solicitor to write a letter to the Magistrates Court making representations for you as to your sentence.
£250.00 plus VAT **

Sentencing - lawyer attends court:
You are going to admit a road traffic offence and you wish for a lawyer to attend the Magistrates Court in person and make representations on your behalf.
£630.00 plus VAT **

Arguing exceptional hardship:
You are going to admit a road traffic offence (e.g. speeding) and you may be disqualified through having too many penalty points and you wish for a lawyer to argue for you in the court that you should not be disqualified because otherwise you or others will suffer exceptional hardship. Arguing special reasons:
You are going to admit a road traffic offence and you wish for a lawyer to attend Court and to argue that there are special reasons why you should not be disqualified (for an offence such as drink driving) or have points imposed on your licence (for an offence such as no insurance). £1,000.00 plus VAT **

Trial in the Magistrates Court:
You wish to be represented in the Magistrates Court by a lawyer in relation to a road traffic matter and have all preparation carried out from the initial charge or summons right through to and including the trial.
£1,500.00 - £2,500.00 plus VAT **

Appeal concerning your conviction:
You wish to appeal to the Crown Court against being found guilty in the Magistrates Court with the help of a lawyer. For further information about appeals click here.

Appeal concerning your sentence:
You wish to appeal to the Crown Court against the sentence you received in the Magistrates Court with the help of a lawyer. For further information about appeals click here.
£1,200.00 plus VAT **

Application to remove your driving disqualification:
In certain circumstances a lawyer can apply to remove your disqualification. For further information about removing your driving disqualification click here.

* Clients are limited to 15 minutes free advice per person. Following that all calls will be charged at the advised rate.

** The above fees are exclusive of additional expenses. You will be advised of these prior to being charged.

Hourly Rate

If you prefer to you may pay us at an hourly rate of £180 per hour (plus VAT).

Fee Recovery

If you win your case or if it is dropped you will be entitled to apply to the state to recover all or part of the fees paid to us.

We accept credit or debit payment in the form of Visa, Mastercard or Maestro.
